{Heavy Heart?}

Sometimes your heart gets heavy. You feel weighed down or sad. You can't get out of a "funk". Trust me I've been there and I want to create a safe place for you to come when you feel that way. Most of the time all I need is a pick me up! I need to see someone else that's happy or find something that inspires me.

If you're feeling this way, I recommend to pray first. Lift yourself up to God...give it all to Him. He's the only one who can ultimately help you. Tell him exactly how you're feeling. Be brutally honest with Him and with yourself when you pray. He knows your heart anyway, He's just waiting for you to trust in Him.

After you do that, shoot me an email at kiah{dot}alivingstone{at}gmail{dot}com so I can say a special prayer for you. I am always here to talk to and to lift you up. Even if you don't want to share with me what you're struggling with, that's fine! I would still love to pray for you anyway.

And after you've done that, here are a few things that make my heart less heavy that will hopefully do the same for you. Like my favorite verses, songs, blog posts, etc. I hope you find them encouraging as well. However, I can not stress enough that the biggest pick-me-up is spending time in God's word and in prayer.
